Life Sciences Technology Practice Group -
Medical Information Technology Sector |
|
The life sciences industry as a whole is evolving towards newer and faster technological advancement in
information technologies. Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies need access to key scientific data to
make informed decisions, and at specific times during the clinical trial process. Regulatory agencies are
requiring electronic submissions. Moving, querying, and storing information, including images and textual
information, throughout the continuum of care is critical to the success of patient outcomes and improved
efficiencies in the care of patients.
Recent drug safety issues and consumer awareness have demonstrated the importance of electronic data capture
and advanced clinical trial software solutions. These technologies allow companies to effectively monitor
and progress through critical stages of drug development, and successfully address potential safety concerns.
