Craig E. Randall serves as Executive Vice President and Office Managing Director in the firm’s Chicago office. In this role, he is responsible for leading executing senior level search assignments as well as leading the firm’s Chicago office. Hunt-Scanlon’s publication, Executive Search Review, named Mr. Randall one of six “executive recruiters to watch” in 2004. Additionally, he is a key member of DHR’s Venture Capital & Private Equity, Healthcare & Life Sciences and Financial Services Practice Groups.
Serving as a Board and CEO-level advisor, Mr. Randall helps clients identify and recruit the proper mix of talent required to develop efficient businesses. His consultative methodology centers on working with senior executives to look at all aspects of human capital management.
Mr. Randall's primary focus is to help Private Equity groups identify and recruit the right leaders to scale portfolio companies and to increase enterprise value.
Mr. Randall brings an incredibly strong research background to his clients. With over 14 years of search experience, he has moved through all chairs including Research Associate, Senior Associate, Principal, Partner and now, Office Managing Director.
Prior to joining DHR International, Mr. Randall was a Senior Associate at Korn/Ferry International where he executed senior level searches for private equity backed clients.
Mr. Randall received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Tulane University where he served as quarterback and captain of the Varsity Football Team. He also attended the University of Michigan and was a member of the 1991 Rose Bowl Team.
He is an active member in the Chicago community, supporting numerous organizations, including: The Children’s Memorial Hospital, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago, and The Steppenwolf Theatre. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation and DHR International.
Mr. Randall lives in Winnetka with his wife Alison and their two daughters, Hadley and Adelaide.
