Frederik J. van der Zeeuw serves as Executive Vice President in DHR’s European Headquarters in Amsterdam. He is a member of the firm’s Financial Services, Professional Services and Chief Financial Officer Practices.
His clients are listed as well as privately held organizations, including private equity and venture capital backed companies. He specializes in high-level specialist and senior executive positions.
Prior to joining DHR, Mr. Van der Zeeuw was Senior Partner at a boutique-style retained executive search firm, bringing along more than 13 years search experience with senior management and Board level assignments in The Netherlands and across Europe.
Before crossing over to executive search, Mr. Van der Zeeuw held various senior management positions in Corporate Banking, as the General Counsel at a Life Insurance company and eventually as the Managing Director at an Accountancy & Tax Advisory firm.
Throughout his executive search consulting career, Mr. Van der Zeeuw’s clients and candidates have recognized his personal commitment to consultative delivery, his ability to proactively define commercial opportunities, to develop alternatives if required, and to offer development and growth solutions to both candidate and client.
Mr. Van der Zeeuw holds a Masters degree in Corporate Law from Leiden University.
Next to his professional career he served in various committees and organizations in the fields of education and child development. He has been active as an Officer in the Royal Navy Reserve for more than 20 years, presently responsible for civil-military cooperation projects in post-conflict regions.
Mr. Van der Zeeuw is fluent in Dutch, English and German and proficient in French.
