Gerry DiNardo serves as Executive Vice President in DHR International’s Chicago office. Mr. DiNardo’s specailty area is in the sports practice.
Mr. DiNardo brings with him close to 30 years of coaching experience. He is a former All-American guard at the University of Notre Dame and was a member of the school’s 1973 national championship team. He was also a former college football and XFL head coach. Mr. DiNardo began his coaching career in 1975, to include joining the staff at the University of Colorado under Bill McCartney. Mr. DiNardo was the offensive coordinator when Colorado won the national championship in 1990. He was then head coach for Vanderbilt from 1991 to 1994. In 1995, Mr. DiNardo took the head coach position at LSU where he remained until 1999. After a brief stint coaching in the XFL, Mr. DiNardo became head coach for Indiana University from 2002 to 2004. In 2004 he retired from coaching.
Starting in 2005, Mr. DiNardo worked for ESPN as an analyst, as well as a broadcaster for the college game day radio show, ADT college coaches corner, ESPNEWS Studio footbal anaylst, game analyst – radio and tv and ESPN – the magazine. In addition to his role at DHR, Mr. DiNardo serves as an analyst on the Big Ten Network and contributes as a football expert on WXCR’s Boers and Bernstein radio show in Chicago.
Mr. DiNardo received his Bachelors in Economics from the Universtiy of Notre Dame and went on to receive his Masters of Education from the Universtiy of Maine. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. DiNardo currently lives in Chicago, Illinois with his wife Terri. He has two children, Kate and Michael.
