Ken Norris serves as Managing Director and Executive Vice President in DHR International’s Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky office. A respected member of the consultant body, Mr. Norris has been instrumental in establishing best practices across the firm relative to key account management. This approach stresses a team-based global execution strategy aligned with the client’s business objectives, and has proven highly successful.

With nearly a decade of experience in executive search, Mr. Norris has successfully recruited at the C-level, Board Director, and nearly all functional Vice President positions. His clients range from early stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies across the financial services, technology, and consumer industries. He has earned a solid reputation in the marketplace based on his consultative and strategic approach to search.

During his early career as a human resources executive, Mr. Norris gained a first-hand understanding of the various functions within an organization, how they interact, and how they support a company’s strategic objectives and desired culture. This hands-on experience allows him to quickly grasp his client’s organizational structure, and offer insights relative to acquiring and developing the best talent.

Prior to joining DHR International, Mr. Norris served as Head of the Technology & Telecommunications practice for Cook Associates, a recognized boutique executive search firm. He has also served as the Managing Director for A.T. Kearney Executive Search where he managed the global execution of senior level executive search assignments for the firm’s largest and most prestigious technology account.

His business career includes significant human resource roles domestically and internationally with Fortune 500 companies including Motorola, Baxter Laboratories, American Express and Chiquita Brands. This comprehensive domestic and international human resource experience contributes to his broad business perspective. Further, he has gained significant international exposure from these organizations, enhanced by ten years living as a resident of Mexico City, where he became fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Norris is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and holds a BS, Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, and resides in Northern Kentucky.
