Larry Munson serves DHR International clients as Executive Vice President. His background includes twelve years as an executive recruiter, 20 years of senior management experience with both large and small companies in multiple industries, and experience as an executive coach and management consultant.
Prior to becoming an executive recruiter, Mr. Munson held management positions with three Fortune 500 companies, an advertising agency, a franchisor, and two management consulting firms. He led a team that developed, introduced, and expanded a new product line for a major food company that generated the highest first-year national sales rate in company history and fifth highest of all products introduced into supermarkets that year. He has led 12 successful business turnarounds as President/COO, General Manager, or Vice President, and has consulted with 22 franchisees and 18 other companies resulting in significantly increased revenues and profits. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Masters Degree in Communications from the University of Missouri.
As a recruiter, Mr. Munson specializes in difficult searches where his turnaround experience, market research skills, and well developed people assessment skills bring great benefit to clients. He has led senior and middle management searches in: consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, foods, advanced technology, biotechnology, consulting, software, nutraceuticals, business services, healthcare, financial services, and telecommunications.
