| The History of DHR International |
|
"The smallest large firm in the industry."
DHR International, Inc. was founded in January 1989 with the leadership of
David H. Hoffmann, a world-renowned executive recruiter. The company was
established with the acquisition of Boyden International’s Chicago and Upper
Montclair, New Jersey offices. DHR's corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, Illinois.
David’s vision for the company was to provide clients with the resources and
reach of a large firm, but the personal touch and partnership achieved in
boutique firms. To further this vision, offices were rapidly opened in all
major cities throughout the United States. DHR continued on its growth pattern
and now has over 40 offices throughout the nation, and an extensive
international network. DHR is known as the fastest growing firm in the
industry.
In November 2001, DHR acquired the assets of Spherion Corporation’s (NYSE: SFN)
StratfordGroup. StratfordGroup served as the global retained search subsidiary
of Spherion and was ranked the 13th largest executive search firm in the U.S.
From the time of inception to the present, DHR has been guided by its founding
principles. Foremost, the Consultants of DHR hold the highest of ethical
standards, along with an unsurpassable level of personal service, strong
dedication to quality, and our unique ‘value-added’ approach. This philosophy
and methodology is consistently demonstrated in DHR’s thorough and unparalleled
researching capability, the teamwork on every assignment, and the timeliness
with which we complete our assignments.
DHR is ranked the fifth largest search firm in the U.S. It is among the
top 10 in world revenue, and number one in office location and geographic
coverage.
